WHY DIFFICULT LIFE PERIODS OFTEN LEAD TO SPIRITUAL GROWTH

I'm sure we've all heard the saying, "When it feels like your life is falling apart, it may actually be falling into place." At the time, those words can seem impossible to believe. When we're in the middle of loss, uncertainty, or emotional pain, all we can see is the struggle. Yet, looking back, many of us can recognize that those difficult seasons became the very experiences that transformed us.

I have always considered myself a spiritual person, but there was a time in my life when I went through a period of profound sadness. Like many people, I leaned on my friends for support, but eventually I realized there was only so much they could do. They listened with compassion, but they couldn't walk the journey for me or take away the pain I was carrying.

When there was nowhere else to turn, I turned to prayer.

A dear friend suggested that I pray to Archangel Michael for healing and guidance. To be honest, I wasn't entirely convinced. I wasn't sure whether Archangel Michael existed, but I was open enough to try. Sometimes our greatest growth begins with a simple willingness to ask for help.

Each evening, I quietly prayed for emotional healing. I hoped for relief, but I never imagined what I would experience.

Over time, I began to notice a deep sense of peace washing over me. There were moments when I felt what I can only describe as a wave of healing moving gently through my body, accompanied by a profound feeling of love unlike anything I had experienced before. Whether you see this as divine intervention, the power of prayer, or simply opening your heart to hope, it became a turning point in my life. It also awakened within me the possibility that loving spiritual support was available, even if I couldn't see it.

That experience didn't erase my challenges overnight, but it changed me. It helped me trust that I wasn't facing life's difficulties alone.

Perhaps you've had a time in your own life when everything changed overnight. A relationship ended, you lost someone you loved, your career shifted unexpectedly, or life simply didn't unfold the way you had imagined. In those moments, it can feel as though the ground beneath your feet has disappeared.

Yet those very experiences often become the beginning of a new chapter.

Difficult times have a way of stripping away what no longer serves us. They invite us to ask deeper questions about who we are, what truly matters, and what we are here to learn. They can awaken compassion, resilience, faith, and a deeper connection to ourselves.

Whether your source of comfort is prayer, meditation, nature, your angels, your guides, or simply the quiet wisdom within, remember that you don't have to have all the answers today. Sometimes the first step is simply asking for guidance and remaining open to receiving it in whatever way feels meaningful to you.

Looking back, I can honestly say that some of the hardest periods of my life became the catalyst for the greatest spiritual growth. They led me to a deeper understanding of myself, strengthened my faith, and ultimately inspired me to help others through evidential mediumship and spiritual development

If you're walking through a difficult season right now, know that this chapter does not define your whole story. Healing often unfolds one small step at a time, and sometimes the path ahead is being quietly prepared long before we can see where it leads.

Yours Truly, Deborah
